Palestine is Breaking Free Webinar

This is a special PDM webinar being held between Palestinian Prisoners Day and Nakba Day, as part of our build-up toward Nakba Day. This year, we are centering our Nakba theme around Palestinian political prisoners — highlighting both prisoners inside Palestine and connecting it to the growing issue of political imprisonment of Palestinians in the West, particularly in the United States.

Resistance Until Return PDM Webinar

This webinar aims to unite Palestinian activists worldwide to strategize, network, and educate ourselves on the core principles of our struggle for liberation. The primary purpose of this event is to unify the collective power of the Palestinian diaspora and leverage it to liberate our homeland. Our goals include re-educating ourselves on the core principles of Palestine (Al Thawabet), serving the homeland in its struggle for liberation, and emphasizing the central role of Islam in our struggle for self-autonomy. Your learning doesn’t end here. The cause for Palestine is not a one-time event. You must continue education and turn it into concrete action. If you are committed to the movement, you are committed long-term.

Social Media Activism and Censorship

Join us on March 1st, 11am to 1230pm EST, for a unique opportunity to listen and connect with Palestinian activists and our allies who have played a vital role in amplifying the Palestinian narrative through social media. PDM founders Salma (@anat.international) and Mohammad (@mufastamo) will host a roundtable of Palestinian content creators and allies across the diaspora who have been instrumental in supporting the Palestinian cause.

We will dive into our experiences as content creators using social media to talk about Palestine, and specificaly how using social media as a tool for activism is a double-edged sword. Through social media activism we can connect globally and gather evidence of genocide but we also experience censorship of Palestinian content.
