What Does A Real Ceasefire Look Like?
Just recently, an “Israeli” airstrike wiped out an entire family that was already displaced and seeking shelter despite a ceasefire. Citing “security reasons,” the Zionist Entity continues to restrict aid and humanitarian groups into the Strip — including Doctors without Borders and Defense for Children International — which has been consistent with its broader “dietary” policy of limiting the calories needed to the minimum to prevent mass starvation. The “Israeli” Navy recently shot and killed a fisherman off the coast of Gaza for going beyond the six-nautical mile restriction, which fishermen often have to go beyond to adequately fish and support their families.
Israel Trains ICE Agents
In the months preceding Good’s death, ICE agents had opened fire on people at least nine times across multiple states, killing at least four other individuals during deportation operations. Masked ICE squads have been snatching people off the streets, kicking down doors in morning raids, and devastating neighborhoods. How did we get here? How did an American agency come to behave like an occupying army? Follow the trail to ‘Tel Aviv’ and Jerusalem. For decades, U.S. law enforcement, including local police, federal agents, and ICE officers, have been training directly with the Zionist army. In fact, internal documents obtained by activists show that “well over a thousand” U.S. police chiefs, sheriffs and federal agents (from the FBI, DHS, and ICE) have flown to ‘Israel’ for training in surveillance, racial profiling, crowd control, detention, and deportation.
Who Is The Board of Peace?
After two years of genocide by the Zionist war machine, the very architects and enablers of these war crimes now have the audacity to pose as ‘peacemakers’. The American empire, chief patron of ‘Israel’s’ brutal campaign, dares to propose a so-called “Board of Peace” to rule Gaza in the genocide’s aftermath.
It was U.S. weapons, money, and diplomatic cover that enabled ‘Israel’s’ bloody campaign. The American empire stood by, vetoing ceasefires and arming the occupation, as Gaza was turned into scorched earth. Now, under the guise of a ‘so-called’ ceasefire, in which Zionist forces have continued their genocidal campaign, the U.S. wants to “manage” what they helped destroy.
Should We Separate Islam & Palestine?
In the Qur’an, Allah describes the Night Journey of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) from Mecca to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa (the Farthest Mosque).
In that miraculous event, the Prophet also ascended to the heavens (Al-Miʿrāj) from the site of Al-Aqsa, forever binding Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem) to Islam.
Every Muslim has a share in the responsibility toward this holy site. Scholars across the Muslim world affirm that defending and safeguarding Al-Aqsa is a collective obligation of Muslims. In other words, caring about Palestine’s holy sites and people is part of our Islamic belief and duty, inseparable from our worship and identity as Muslims.
Where’s The 3rd Intifada?
The First Intifada was characterized by mass protests, general strikes, and boycotts. This wave of resistance continued for six years until the signing of the Oslo Accords, which began in September 1993 and introduced the prospect of Palestinian statehood. This raises the question of a Third Intifada. While the last phase of escalated genocide against the Gaza Strip has provoked millions around the world to educate themselves, mobilize, and stand in solidarity with Palestinians and the people of Gaza, the same scale and intensity of unified resistance across the Palestinian territories is noticeably absent in the current day context as compared to the First and Second Intifadas.
Christmas in Palestine
Christmas in the birthplace of Sayyidina Isa, peace be upon him, is being suffocated by Zionist occupation and genocide. This piece reflects on Palestinian Christian life under attack, Muslim Christian coexistence in Palestine, and how faith remains a root of resistance and steadfastness.
How ICE Targets Migrants
After 9/11, the U.S. transformed immigration into a “national security” project—building ICE into a machinery of raids, surveillance, detention, and deportation. This piece traces how that system targets racialized communities and mirrors the same logic of control and dispossession perfected under Zionist occupation in Palestine—then ends with a clear call to action for solidarity and dismantling.
The Jordan ‘Israel’ Peace Deal
The Wadi ʻAraba Treaty, often referred to as a milestone for "peace," represents a profound betrayal of the Palestinian people and their quest for liberation. While it formalized diplomatic relations between Jordan and “Israel,” established agreements on land borders, and outlined resource allocations, it fundamentally served the interests of elites over the rights and aspirations of Palestinians. This so-called peace framework laid the groundwork for increased cooperation in trade, tourism, and security with a settler-colonial entity intent on perpetuating its occupation.
Why Do Zionists Want Al-Quds?
The Setback or Naksa 58’
Explore the 58th anniversary of the Naksa and how the 1967 war marked a turning point in the Zionist occupation of Palestine. This powerful Op-Ed traces the roots of settler colonialism, the collapse of Arab regimes, the rise of Palestinian resistance, and the vital role of Islam in grounding the liberation struggle from 1967 to today.
Life Beneath the Zionist Carceral State
On Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, we examine the daily machinery of control that governs life in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem—checkpoints, raids, arrests, and a prison system designed to crush Palestinian resistance. From children prosecuted in military courts to detainees held for years without charge, this piece exposes the inner workings of “Israel’s” carceral regime and the stories of those who endure it. Read how imprisonment functions not as a response to crime—but as a tool of colonization.
Trump is Anti-Palestine
Donald Trump’s latest proposal to forcibly remove over 2 million Palestinians from Gaza and hand the land over for development as a so-called “Riviera of the Middle East” is nothing short of ethnic cleansing in broad daylight. This is not just another racist outburst from an imperialist leader—it is a calculated continuation of Western colonialism’s violent grip on Palestine.
Trump’s vision, which includes pushing Palestinians into Egypt and Jordan against their will, is a direct violation of international law and a blatant attempt to erase Palestinian existence. The same Western empire that armed and funded the Israeli occupation now seeks to redefine the terms of Palestinian genocide, repackaging forced displacement as “development.” This is settler-colonial logic in action—stealing land, erasing indigenous people, and replacing them with a Zionist project that serves the interests of the West.
Make no mistake: this is not about peace or economic prosperity. This is the same imperialist, Zionist-backed agenda that Trump pushed throughout his presidency—from the illegal Abraham Accords, which normalized occupation, to his endorsement of illegal settlement expansion, to his total disregard for Palestinian sovereignty and humanity. The world must call this what it is—an attempted genocide.
Palestinians will not be forcibly removed from their land. Gaza is not for sale. Our people will resist, as they have for over 75 years, because Palestine belongs to Palestinians—not to Western colonizers, not to Zionist settlers, and certainly not to Donald Trump.
Allyship Beyond A Ceasefire
A guide on being an Ally for Palestine. How to be a principled ally for Palestine and show solidarity through anti-colonial framework. This includes respect for the Islamic identity of the Palestinian cause, while rejecting Western secularization and trend-based activism.
Never Trust A Zionist Ceasefire
After 15 months of brutal genocide, the Zionist enemy accepted the same ceasefire terms that Hamas proposed 8 months ago, with nothing to show for it. None of the goals of the “Israeli” regime were accomplished. Netanyahu was forced to concede to the deal because he suffered a humiliating loss.
“Israel” failed to secure the return of all hostages or dismantle Hamas both as a political party and a military regime. The notion of eradicating Hamas proved to be futile because it is not just a group but an enduring idea that cannot be killed. Contrary to their objectives, resistance has gained the support of people worldwide.
Gaza's True Death Toll
The true scale of destruction in Gaza is heavily underreported because of challenges of recovering bodies from the rubble due to the lack of adequate machinery. This situation means that the ‘official’ death tolls fail to reflect those who are still missing, whose fates remain unknown in the chaos. Despite these significant obstacles, the Gaza Ministry of Health remains committed to accurate reporting, only confirming deaths when a body is recovered. Another concerning trend in media coverage is the framing of casualty statistics as "women and children," which intentionally sidelines Palestinian men as victims of a genocide.
PDM’s Public Statement on Gaza Ceasefire
Gaza’s joy is our joy, even amidst the incomprehensible barbarity of the Zionist regime. We are relieved at even a moment of relief and share in their happiness. Yet, we remain cautious, vigilant, and unwavering.
Our fight for Palestine does not begin or end with this ceasefire. We are reminded that before this genocide began, we stood firm in our commitment to justice. And long after the world declares this genocide over, we will remain steadfast. Our goal is not mere peace, but justice. Our aim is not temporary ceasefires, but total liberation.
Victory is not found in negotiations orchestrated by imperial powers. Victory is with Allah, the Most High, and His divine promise: “Indeed, the promise of your Lord is truthful” (Quran 11:119). These words anchor us. These words guide us. These words give us hope.
Reject Normalization
Normalization, in the context of Palestine, refers to the process by which relationships, activities, and agreements are established with the Zionist settler-colonial state of Israel without addressing its occupation, oppression, and violations of Palestinian rights. This term includes normalization via diplomatic agreements, economic partnerships, cultural exchanges, and even rhetorical frameworks that equate the experiences of the occupier with the occupied.
Betrayal in Jenin
The Palestinian Authority (PA), under the leadership of Mahmoud Abbas, operates as a dictatorship that functions to uphold the Zionist settler-colonial system, oppressing Palestinians rather than protecting their liberation. This betrayal of the Palestinian struggle is evident in its recent actions in Jenin, where the PA's violent crackdown against resistance groups has underscored its role as a subcontractor for Israeli interests.
The First Palestinian Intifada
In the ten years leading up to the First Intifada, or First “Uprising,” the Zionist far-right Likud party was gaining power in the settler colony of “Israel.”
These extremists aggressively advanced indigenous land theft and the creation of illegal settlements on Palestinian land. After decades of violent colonization, the sentiment of resistance against the fascist occupiers gained traction amongst the Palestinian people.
What is Al Thawabet?
Al Thawabet, meaning "constants," are the core, uncompromising principles of the Palestinian liberation struggle. These red lines, established by the Palestinian National Council in 1968, represent the demands on which there can be no sacrifice. They have been upheld for decades as the foundation of Palestinian resistance and national identity.
